Lyssy Salvador


Biography

From training in the Bay Area, CA, to becoming a recently graduated BFA Dance major at Chapman University, Lyssy Salvador has developed a multifaceted career in choreography, performance, and teaching.

She has trained personally under Azuki Umeda, Danyel Moulton, Jaylen Pea, Ido Tadmor, Karen Chuang, Will Johnston, and many other notable dance professionals. She currently trains with the LA-based competition team, Snowtorious.

She has presented choreographic work at Chapman University through live concerts and film festivals, as a chosen recipient for the Journey Dance Awards and the Future Artists Festival by Still Inspired, as well as a student choreographer representing Chapman University for Au.thenticity Dance Company’s show “&when the heart opens” in collaboration with the Collegiate Conference of Movement Artists. 

She continues her performance career based out of Los Angeles and Orange County, as well as continuing her choreographic and teaching career across the US. She also continues her work at World of Dance as a part of their Marketing and Live Events staff.
